Creepy Baby From Upcoming Video Game Is Freaking People Out All Over The Internet

Babies are naturally cute, bouncing bundles of joy.

They're infinitely huggable and kissable.

Plus, you've got to just love the way they can fall asleep just about anywhere. Including your own face.

But just because they're cute and cuddly doesn't mean they can't scare you half to death. And no, I'm not talking about all the ridiculously dangerous things kids do because they don't know how electrical outlets or toilet bowls or steam irons work.

I'm talking about artists subverting the cute imagery of infants by making them act unnaturally.  Which is exactly what the upcoming Kojima productions game, Death Stranding, did in its new trailer.

It released this video on its official Twitter account with the caption "Early contender for 2018 Best New Character #TheGameAwards."

I mean, seriously, what would drive someone to make a CGI baby give you finger guns?

The trailer premiered at the 2017 Game Awards. The upcoming title features everyone's favorite Boondock Saint turned zombie hunter, Norman Reedus, in a nightmarish world where he has to face his own insanity.

And that baby, apparently was inside of Reedus himself.
